Cost: $50 PP – limited to 5 people with host & farmer Gemma Young, owner of Young Girls Farm

Requirements:

Boots, rubber gloves, signing a waiver.  You may get wet and dirty.

Kids 9-13 will require adult supervision by a parent during the Agricultural Experience.

Ages 9 and Up (kids and adults are welcome to sign up)

A Day On The Farm is an all new workshop at Young’s Greenhouse presented by Young Girls Farm! An AgriTourism Experience at a real working farm in Maine provides a unique experience for only 5 people to have a hands on experience with a working Maine farmer to see up close and personally a day in the life of a farmer.

• Crossing cows from pastures
• Cleaning a stall
• Washing Cows
• Drying and Brushing Cows
• Meeting the calves
